X is for Xenology

In this episode, Anita talks to her guest Trance Medium Laura, a Reiki level 2 and a Rahanni teacher.

Xenology is the study of all aspects of life, intelligence, and civilisation indigenous to environments other than Earth.

Xenology, known as exology, is derived from the Greek word xenos, which as an adjective has the meaning foreign, alien, strange or unusual.

 

Laura has been sitting with spirit for many years, connecting and communicating with her guides, the spirit world and other dimensions.

Over this time Laura has developed her trance mediumship; trance mediumship is the oldest method of Spirit communication, often associated with seances and physical phenomena.

Trance itself refers to the altered state of consciousness that the medium enters.

Laura talks about her journey and philosophy on connecting with other dimensions, specifically star beings and how she is aware of the difference, from spirit communication, the ascended masters and star beings.

W is for Well-Being

In this episode, Anita talks about Well-being and understanding the word Holistic for optimum wellness.

Holistic medicine means consideration of the complete person in the management and prevention of disease physically, psychologically, socially and spiritually. It is underpinned by the concept that there is a link between our physical health and our more general ‘well-being’.

Holistic medicine is a form of healing that considers the whole person — body, mind, spirit, and emotions — in the quest for optimal health and wellness. According to the holistic medicine philosophy, one can achieve optimal health — the primary goal of holistic medicine practice — by gaining proper balance in life.

Holistic medicine practitioners believe that the whole person is made up of interdependent parts and if one part is not working properly, all the other parts will be affected. In this way, if people have imbalances (physical, emotional, or spiritual) in their lives, it can negatively affect their overall health.

 

Holistic medicine is also based on the belief that unconditional love and support is the most powerful healer and a person is ultimately responsible for their own health and well-being. All people have innate healing powers.

Healing takes a team approach involving the patient and doctor, and addresses all aspects of a person’s life using a variety of health care practices.

 

There are lots of things we can try to take care of our wellbeing.

  • Relax and reduce stress
  • Find ways to learn and be creative
  • Spend time in nature
  • Connect with others
  • Look after your physical health
  • Try to get enough sleep
  • Connect with your higher self

U is for Understanding what Animal Communication is NOT

In this episode, Anita talks about what Animal Communication is NOT!

Anita is a Psychic Medium and  Animal Communicator with over 20 years of experience. She has worked as a professional dog trainer and is a kennel club assessor, based in Essex, London.

Anita studied at The Arthur Findlay College, in Stansted, where she is now an approved SNU Healer and a holder of PAS.

Anita’s passion is her dogs, where she shares her home with 8 of them!

Animal communication is not ‘Mind Control’ – you cannot control the mind of an animal, and tell it what to do. I can’t “tell your animal” to do, or not do something, any more than I could tell YOU to do or not do something.

During my years working as a dog trainer and now as an animal communicator, I am asked to tell:

  • Cats to stop bringing in their prey
  • Dogs to stop chasing

I share my life with a number of different breed types, now if I call my Doberman to return, he does so immediately, my hounds, on the other hand, do not!

Animal communication is not a substitute for clear and humane training and behaviour management.

We still have to do the work of species-appropriate training and behaviour modification, hopefully using positive reinforcement practices that support and respect the animal’s sentience, awareness, perspective, and innate nature.

Animal Communication is not a way to diagnose an animal’s illness.

Diagnosing or prescribing treatment is out of bounds of an animal communicator unless the animal communicator is also a qualified veterinarian. It is actually illegal within, most places to practice veterinary medicine without a license!

As an animal communicator, I can share with you the symptoms from the animal’s perspective, and communicate with the animal about their perspective or understanding of their situation.

For example, if they are aware of how they were injured, the location and quality of their pain, what makes them feel better or worse, etc.

As a Reiki Master trained in energy healing I can also share with you what I perceive about energetic imbalances, areas of vulnerability or strengths.

I need superpowers to be able to communicate with animals!

NO, we are ALL born with the ability to communicate with every living thing, animals, plants, the environment, and one another.

T is for Tapping

S is for Sound Healing

In this episode, Anita talks about the origins and benefits of using sound for healing and the role of the Gong in sound healing.

Since the time of early man sound has been used to facilitate healing. Healing with sound is believed to date back to ancient Greece, when music was used in an attempt to cure mental disorders.

It also played a major role in traditional ceremonies celebrations initiations. Ancient cultures used a send chamber to work with sound in a powerful way for healing and to create an altered state of consciousness.

Throughout history, music has been used to boost morale in military troops, help people work faster and more productively, and even ward off evil spirits by chanting.

Today sound is being trialled in science to explore the possibility to sonically blast away tumours!

The range of tones within the gong are very extensive and incorporates all of the tones and harmonics of the sound spectrum.

The gong is excellent for people who have a monkey mind, because one of the main effects of the gong is to shut down the monkey mind.

Sound therapy uses different aspects of sound to improve your emotional and physical well-being. Sound therapy sessions can be experienced one-on-one or in a group with a specially trained practitioner.

A session may involve sitting or lying down while listening to music or sounds from a speaker or instruments, or having vibrations applied using a special tool, such as a tuning fork.

Depending on the method, you may be encouraged to participate by singing, moving, or even using a musical instrument, or you may need to remain still and quiet to let the sounds take effect.

Anita is a Gong Master Practitioner and Sound Healer.

She regularly facilitates private 1-2-1 and group sessions from her home space and at various locations around the South East of England.

Q is for Quartz Crystals

Crystals are so much more than just a pretty sparkly decoration, they each have their own unique power and beauty and come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

The Quartz family is the second most abundant natural mineral found on Mother Earth and is present in many form’s; where the most common type of quartz crystals include clear quartz, amethyst, citrine, rose quartz, and smoky quartz.

The market for crystals has grown significantly over the years, with demand growing which is creating a shortage in some gemstones!

With illegal and destructive mining, are crystals becoming the “New Blood Diamonds?

P is for Past Lives

Sharon first became involved with Laughter Yoga in 2016 where she trained at the Odette Laughter Academy, with Joe Hoare, Dave Burman, Sarah Routman and Miriam Gasman who all opened her eyes to new ways with laughter.

K is for Kinesiology

In this episode, Anita talks with guest Barbara Mastropirro about kinesiology and how she uses it to communicate with the body and its natural muscle-response ability to heal.

No other modality incorporates emotional, nutritional, chemical, structural, physical, meridians and other energetical systems in its all-encompassing holistic approach to allowing the body to recover its good health.

J is for Journey – The Wellness Journey with Guest Dr Elizabeth Collins

Dr Elizabeth Collins is the owner and director of The East West Company, an integrative wellness practice specializing in burnout recovery coaching, functional medicine, acupuncture, and more.  She uses her combined backgrounds in both Eastern and biomedicines, as well as her training in hypnosis, to approach healing from a perspective that seeks to fully integrate the mind, body, and spirit.
